From an NGO to social enterprise

In 2013, the Founder of WASHKing, Dieudonne Kwame Agudah being a trained environmentalist, decided to set up an NGO (called G-YES) because of his belief in the power of the youth to take action to protect their environment and health. The NGO achieved some successes but there was funding challenge along the line of operation. Thus, he decided that it would be better to set up a separate company to generate revenue to support the NGO. His other intention for this decision was his belief that when the enterprise was successful could better help address the environmental issues and achieve greater impacts. So, in 2016, he finally established WASHKing which continuous to help resolve deep social and environmental issues impacting local people and communities.
