Our Social & Community Impact

Positively impacting and changing lives & communities

From just 18 toilets in our first year, WASHKing has now been able to build over 600 toilets benefitting over 6,000 low-income people and underserved communities. Our work empowers young people with job opportunities, transferable skills, and improved economic status for them, their families and local economy. Moreover, our provision of bio-digester toilets, and safe sanitation and hygiene training improve household health and productivity, as well as reduce pollution by eradicating open defecation. The use of local resources for toilet production and on-site feces treatment reduces carbon emissions. The technology minimizes water used for flushing.
